Ginger, garlic, chili, and soy sauce team up for a piquant sauce that goes with almost anything! This sauce is designed for the followers of the Dukan Diet and so has no oil. To oil it up — add a lug of sesame or peanut oil.
Oil-free Asian Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 knob fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, mashed
- (1/3 cup) 75 ml low-sodium soy sauce
- (1 Tbl) 30 ml cold water
- 3 scallions, finely diced
Optional
- (1 tsp) 5 ml red chili, seeded, cored, and finely minced
Directions
| 1. | Combine all the ingredients into a food processor, fitted with a steel blade. Pulse five times to combine. Keeps up to a week. Store in a clean glass jar with a tight lid. |
